In fairness to the Hillary people I think that they are referring to how the system works -- not to the knowledge about issues.

The thing is, imo, is that when you determine that knowing how a malfunctioning system is a priority then you are intentionally selecting for those so entrenched that they are likely unwilling and unable to change it.

No one LIKES change much. Politicians are no different.

I think it would take someone with some arms length from the system to see both what it is and what it could be.

Hillary seems to be sooooo entrenched that she quite sincerely can't seem to see the cess pool that the system is.

Take lobbyiests. Hillary knows cognitively that they are an impediment to the functioning of DC HOWEVER she and her husband have learned how to use this undesireable appendage to the system to their advantage so the dysfunction does not seem as severe to them. It in many senses cognitive dissonance at work.

Hillary is in many ways an I can't person anyway. So it was not hard for her to convince herself that there were other ways to finance her campaign. Obama is showing her that not only is there another way --- there is a better way and she with all of her campaign experience over the 35 years has not yet understood the need to change gears to catch up. It really is sort of sad.
