I now have Medicare and after finally getting it, I have to say I like it. With everything it costs about 300 a month. I get to see my regular doctor, who by the way says as the system stands now, it will all collapse within the next five years. People say the national health care hasn`t worked in Canada and other places but I say that with an overview of those systems and our advantage of hindsight, we should be able to put together a workable system. I know its hard but that doesn`t mean we shouldn`t do it just because its hard.

I seem to remember the nightmare stories about Kaiser.
With medicare, the docs work for less than minimum wage in some cases, so you're not always getting the best care unless you are lucky enough to get a truly dedicated doctor.
