And I think if Bill and Hillary had not both played the race card so shamelessly, we might still be in a 3-way race with Hillary, Obama and
Edwards. I and many liberals I know were wavering between Edwards and Obama, which can hardly be characerized as hysterical Obamamania.

It is entirely possible that Joseph Kennedy paid off the mob so that
JFK could win Chicago and the 1960 election. It is entirely possible
that had he lived, JFK would not have had LBJ's expertise in getting the civil rights legislation through Congress. Yet he inspired a generation of Americans. You seem to have forgotten the Peace Corps.
