Well this makes no sense at all.
Clemens purports to want his name/legacy cleared. If so, he could have just denied everything, and chosen not to legitimize the steroid claims.
Instead, he vigorously claims innocence, knowing that he will ultimately get a pardon?
Kind of tarnishes the legacy a lot more, than if he would have explored the same avenues that Bonds did, no?
