That's good and all and hopefully it will make a difference. However, these are not misconceptions since it is fact that most acts of terrorism are by people who are from muslim countries and claim to be musllim. It's also fact that many wars and conflicts involve muslim countries. Islam also have a very violent history and existence. The poor treatment of women in most muslim shows us that Islam isn't about peace necessarily, these are facts that cannot be denied or overlooked - hence people's perception that Islam is violent.
