More Water Wars

In a previous thread the struggle for water between Georgia and Alabama was brought up. Well Georgia is at it again this time with Tennessee.

Georgia Claims a Sliver of the Tennessee River

They are bringing up a land dispute going back almost 200 years (which has been revisted several times since) in an effort to redraw their northern boundry to the 35th parallel. This change would have a small portion of the Tennessee River go through the Northeast corner of Georgia giving access to its water. The Southeast has been plagued by a severe drought that has left Atlanta and surrounding areas with a water shortage.

Proposed border change

Tennesse is also suffering from the drought so water taken from them would cause more hardships there. The border change would effect part of North Carolina as well.
