Tidal power... is it sexy? I was contemplatering the stuff*age and I thought maybe we could create like a large basin, on a swiveling-thing. As the moon sucks it dry, the basin would move on its axis, creating the right amount of motion necessary for harnessing the bitch.

In less pornographic terms, the basin would move with the motion of the water inside the basin. The water is moved by the moon in the same fashion tides are moved.

Or does the whole moon/tide thing not work quite like this?
