Spine health thread ( please)

1. any of us could look at people in nursing homes and see that they are NOT running ( in general )
and their bones are turning to dust.
We can also look at old people who run and see that their bones are stronger than those who do not run.

Running is not the problem.

At any given time, the skelton is ten years old.

2. to focus on stomach muscles for back-health is to say what...?
weaken and/or ignore back muscles.

So, strengthen front and back muscles and what...?
let other muslces rot?

3. there are no muscles in the 'core'.
There are organs.
If you are trying to say 'torso', say 'torso'.
The list of musucles is specific.
Either you strenghthen them or they weaken.
They do not care what you think or say and they never will.
You would not brush some of your teeth.

4.Of the things that you could for your backs or
would do for your backs,
those of you who question your sitting are on the right track.
ALLLLLLL
of the posts that I have ever posted here or on the BM boards
were typed while standing.

The only time that I sit is to drive.
(I haven't solved that one yet.)

Most of these are basic things that you could observe if you bothered.
