These individuals, not content to live in an insular world of self-delusion, these die-hard crackpots believe others must be coerced, indoctrinated, and deceived to think the same as well.

If you insist on perpetuating sterotypes, then turn-about is fair play no?

What disgusts me most about these types of people is how they are incapable of turning perspectives, of seeing the merits of having more than one point of view available.
Let's get a few things straight here. While I'll agree that the Left has its share of loonies in gropus like PETA and ELF, these nuts are marginalized and actually feed off society's rejection, sort of a mind set that says "The whole world is against us so how can we be wrong?" I've heard many "libs" here and elsewhere denounce them, but let's take a look over at the right side of the aisle. The problem with the reactionary loons of the neo con stripe is that they don't share the rubber room society has assigned to the ultra radical left, THEY ARE IN FUCKING CHARGE! A President who says that Jesus talks to him and told him to run for the highest office? A GOP candidate who refuses to denounce the views and reject the support of a wall eyed fool preacher who buys the whole rapture/end times "Left Behind" scenario of world events? A GOP with a major portion of its base that believes it's a badge of honor for a politician to reject Evolution in favor of Intelligent Design aka Creationism as science? Sorry righties, but the line for the Little Yellow S.P.E.D. bus forms on your side. You've embraced too many so called ideas that don't deserve a side any more than alchemy deserves equal time with modern chemistry, and too many of you here are simply obsessed with joining a club populated by the rich, a blatant attraction to power with closeted, homoerotic overtones.
