The reasons we went turned out to be false. It seems pretty clear, in the aftermath, what exactly the reason was for going in there.

In other words, NO.

I only hope that the giant pile of shit they have created will one day sprout a tree. (But the morons who lied to us to start this shit, will get no credit, and will be barred from sitting in the shade of said tree).

In all likelyhood, I'm afraid what the Iraqis will end up with is a government worse than Saddam's. (Or three)

Yeah, they may have hated Saddam (actually, it turns out many of them liked him alot, despite the obvious reasons not to). But they could at least hate him by the light of an electric light bulb. They are forced to hate the USA by candle-light.
