OK....if Clinton is out.......why should her supporters vote for Obama?
Not like there has been any animosity and divisiveness in this primary, or name calling, accusations of racism, dirty tactics and underhanded maneuvering. So if Obama wants to win.......how does he get my vote and the other Clinton supporters?
As it stands right now......many of my friends (as well as me) plan on re-registering as independents now. My best friend said something to me that made me really think. Obama supporters have gone out of their way to humiliate Clinton supporters and push them away. If they think they can win a Presidential election with out us.......maybe we should just let them go without our support. Is there any real reason to throw our support behind a candidate that doesn't speak to us.......or more importantly.....why should we now just forgive and forget and fall in line. If we don't like Obama why should we vote for him in the general election? I have toyed with the idea of voting for McCain....it disgust me too much right now to do it, but what makes people think that Obama can win with just his own supporters. He needs the support of a majority of America to win the general election and I have no reason at this point to do so.
Is there a compelling argument to make all of us back someone just because they are a Democrat when deep in our souls we believe he does not stand for what we believe in and distrust him so much.
