Look at how Louisiana loses all the revenues for offshore oil to the fed. Evr since the Whiskey Rebellion the fed has asserted dominance over the states. Especially when it came to matters of revenue enhancement.

No but the time has come for a serious readjustment of the federal government. Downsize some parts or eliminate them all together, and beef up others. Like food inspection, safetty inspections and the like.
