Not normally. I've had dogs my entire life and there have always been scuffles, it comes with having animals. Cats fight, dogs fight, humans fight. This was actually my fault for not being on top of things and getting too complacent. I know them and I am aware of how Sydney will not hesitate to snap. I couldn't actually say Roux started it. He started his barking as to feeding time, which is normal, but as for the actual incident Sydney probably snapped at him first. I say probably because I was the irresponsible one who, knowing that I was changing their routines as for feeding (and other routines around the house), should have been on top of the situation. Instead when Roux started his barking as to feeding time I walked into the kitchen to take care of water and food. Compound this with the fact that I had just been playing fetch with all three (Sydney likes her rocks, the other two actual toys) and you can see my irresponsibility in this situation.
