This was a rehash and update of previous Frontline segment.
It's such an important subject matter I think they felt the need to redo it.
Essentially the Cheney/Rummy show got us into this mess. Two movers and shakers in D.C for years who knew how to get things done by consolidating power, and protecting their own interests.
Harmless when talking about the internal workings of America. Absolutely a horror show when applying it to foreign policy.
Two hacks in way over their heads, and to arrogant to listen to anyone.
Expanding the presidential powers of a weak office holder, and pushing through your own agenda regaurdless of all the omens, signposts, and conflicting opinions and data is a formula for disaster.
Let it be a lesson to anyone in those seats of power from these days forward.
