Also remember it's not just 30 minutes, a lot of work goes into the shows and they are written together. That way they don't step on each others toes in lampooning current events unless it's a gold mine.
So lay off Stewart and Colbert for taking the week off.

A lot of writing and staff go into Letterman and Leno too, you don't see them taking several months off a year. You going to tell me Jon isn't getting paid huge bucks for that show?
