To me it's all the same.
Each message to get people to come into a building and put money in your pocket is just that. That's all it is.
Whether it's ranting against white authority to blacks. Or telling people you'll have everlasting life if your drink a symbolic cup of blood every Sunday.
Most of it is lies and some half truths or down right fantasy. It's the selling of it that is the buisness.
People fall for it, as did Obama, as do millions each Sunday. Some take it more seriously then others, while some just show up and enjoy the social aspects of these "religions".
We've gotten to the point where a candidate can't say "I don't give a shit either way about religion", so now he can be held accountable for every one of these flimflam men they've associated themselves with over the years.
Whether conscious or not they're all selling something, whether it's to "fight the power" or the "everlasting covenent".
What's the difference between Wright and some nut shouting in the street about how the white man has been keeping him down?
Money. One makes money and a living doing it, the other does not.
To tell you the truth at least Wright's message is grounded in some sort of truth. While most others are just promises that can never be kept for adherence to ritual.
