So in a BBC worldwide poll Israel came in second behind Iran as the world's most hated country! (I think Israel did worse than Iran but semantics shemantics)More than traditional anti-Semitism and more than the influence of Arab and Muslim propaganda, it stands to reason that the strongest factor behind this is lefty media.

Israel's margin of survival is not wide, and this kind of things harms not only tourism and the economy; it undercuts Israelis' morale and confidence about taking military action when necessary, since the media will work with and energize the UN-EU-State Department etc. mechanism that starts coming down hard on Israel the minute it starts defending itself. The lefty media's flaying of Israel has been relentless since at least the early '70s when I started paying attention to it--still young and naive enough to be shocked by it.

The minute the Palestinians started portraying themselves as Third World underdogs, the media was a complete and total pushover for it.
