Who to blame?
There are economic problems in this country but who is really to blame?
The price of gas is moving up very rapidly and many are blaming Bush. We forget that he recommended drilling in Alaska and off the coast. The democrats in Congress blocked this even though the people in Alaska wanted to drill. How could anyone blame Bush for this foolish choice not to drill which causes us to be more dependent on foriegn oil.
President Bush has recommended that this nation move toward alternate fuel. He recommended that corn not be used for the making of ethanol. We immediately started producing ethanol with the use of corn which is a very poor and expensive way to produce ethanol. Gasoline with ethanol is just as high if not higher than just gasoline. If you think that gasoline you put in your car is expensive wait until you see what your food will soon cost because of the use of corn which is what the president warned us of. Other problems in this country will seem small. Expect all meat products to jump very quickly. You vegetarians will not escape as this high demand for corn will affect what farmers plant. Shortages cause higher prices for those that are not aware of it.
