I am a big fan of science Friday on NPR and yesterday they had a very interesting segment about biofuels. At university of Michigan they have created a cellulose based biofuel extracting a enzyme from a cows second stomach and genetically planting it in corn, in the vacuole (the cell's garbage can) which at harvest time fills up and converts it into alchaole, the big deal about this is that fuels can be made from stalks, the other parts of the plant! This is huge! Here is the link.
