It definitely made the news when they were pardoned. While I hate groups like the FALN and the IRA, terrorism doesn't exist in a vacuum, and the crimes committed by the US government against the people of Puerto Rico are a well documented but seldom discussed chapter in our history. Compulsory sterilization of a portion of the female population was a grisly practice that lasted into the 1980s, not to mention serruptitious drug testing on an unsuspecting populace. Still, Clinton's role in the pardon stands in stark contrast to the tough on terror attitude she's presenting on the campaign trail. McSame would have a field day with this if she's the Dem nominee in the fall.
