I told her about the situation there.... THis was even before the food riots........ I pointed out how desperately poor they were & what is she going to do for them...... The glassy eyes blank look really said it all. She had no idea........

I asked her point blank wouldn't that $1,800 go to better use buying them some food. RIce, Beans..etc............. She shrugged & walked away & never mentioning it around me......... She is leaving mid May & is bragging about it........

Am I wrong here feeling she is just wasting these donations to get a vaction & make herself feel better "witnessing to the natives". SHe does not speak French or Creole so I am not even sure how she can rationalize that off.................
