Well, eating more or less meat may have have legitimate health reasons behind it, but i'm not doing it just to bring the corn prices down. The idea is downright counterproductive - most of the really starving economies are agriculture based, so when prices are low, they are simply unable to compete against larger, more efficient Western agribusinesses. Higher prices give all those small time 3rd world farmers a fighting chance... If demand for corn goes down and prices drop, you'll be destroying lives of the people who produce something in favor of those who do not....
Seems kinda pointless to me.
