Questioning, erxamining occurences is a sign of Intelligence. For example: It took much longer than seven Days, to "create" the Earth. Yet you (and many) believe this to be the truth/reality. And I (and many) do not.
The Earth is much older than two thousand years, and while believing thusly, you limit your understanding of the awesome vasteness of our Universe.
But it's okay to believe whatever you must, in order to deal with your fear of dying.
