It's the raising of livestock where the problem occurs not the shipping.
Shipping just consumes more resources. And the main point is, we ship it because local communities do not and for the most part cannot produce their own food.......

You havent explained anything. you're just acting pompous..........what species? How much acreage and what crop does it take to feed one of these animals thru maturity. Break your ideas down for me....I want to see cost per acre....and product yield too....What are you gonna grow...fescue? bermuda? How many pounds of usable animal will you reap per acre?

Again, because they're not using the right species of meat animal for the environment they're in. Same as I've many times explained. And, most forest burning is for agriculture not feeding livestock. Vegetarians have lied about this [or simply didn't know any better] when claiming otherwise.
