I think people here have something against cheese. I don't understand that and think I really need to read more. Or maybe I just like cheese, plus, a little hungry right now.
That said, and I probably should have mentioned this before, if my cat does need a pill, I pry her jaw open, the big kid tosses it down, and I clamp down her jaws closed until I think it's about to come out of her nose (hasn't so far). It's not pretty and I get scratched up, but she doesn't go completely nuts, like she does in a car.
Some cats really don't like cars.
