You cant blame Jimmy Carter for domestic Iranian politics. The Shah of Iran was the reason for the Cultural Revolution that took place in Iran. The installing of a puppet played right into the conservatives hands and sowed the seeds for the events that followed. Jimmy even allowed the Shah to come to the US for medical treatment to keep the old fuck alive, but events were already set in motion.
Today, if you want to convert people from being anti-west to being pro-west, you don’t bomb them, you talk to them. What he did in Palestine should be reciprocated in Iran as well.
