What is the most telling aspect of John McCain's character?
I think the telling aspect of McCain's character is that he came back from Vietnam to the wife who had stayed married to him all those years.
The wife is Carol who had once been quite a babe herself apparently, until a near-fatal car accident (while McCan’t was in Vietnam) left her 4 inches shorter, overweight and on crutches. The wife who dutifully raised and cared for McSame's three children...alone.
Carol stayed true to her husband until his return, and who then promptly divorced her to marry his wealthy mistress the beer heiress and run for political office on her money.
Nothing else seems to compare in importance.
