Excuse me. I can't even express how wrong that is. For your information, California is one of the most liberal and experimental circuits and I for one, know, that if there are any corrupt judges they do not sit on the California bench. The judge postponed it for reasons that are most likely procedural. If you don't like the verdict there are ways to appeal it. FYI most trials take 1-3 years, (if they go to trial, 90% of all cases are settled out of court).
Political affiliation has
nothing to do with civil procedure.
Judaical appointments are often politically charged but for the most part judges that get on the bench deserve to be there.

The trial isn't going to solve anything. It will most likely be appealed and held up for another 2-3 years (if they go to trial at all). I have my doubts but I haven't been watching very carefully.
