I just went through an ordeal w/ my daughters laptop........ Fucking HP tried to even lie about it to beat her out of the free/recall........
They said there was water damage... But the only damage it did was to the one part that failed.........
It was the card for the wireless... Everything else worked & I could go online if I pulled it direct via a cable..... Just the one part...........
Once we told them that the "supervisor" relented & fixed it for nothing......
