Well it is more than that... Breeding a horse & donkey got you a sterile ass......... (SOme similar/related fruits & flowers. ~shrug~ )
Now they can cross rats & jellyfish..... Dogs & mustard greens...........
They are crossing all kinds of shit (things that would not naturally occur in nature) & what it will do to the environment is anyones guess....... If they cross this shit up the pollen will/does enter the ecosystem w/ unknown results.. It may take several generations to know, if ever, what it could have done.........
