They are crossing all kinds of shit (things that would not naturally occur in nature) & what it will do to the environment is anyones guess....... If they cross this shit up the pollen will/does enter the ecosystem w/ unknown results.. It may take several generations to know, if ever, what it could have done.........

Ecologically, the risks are greater, but so too are the benefits. It means we just have to be more careful. But morally it's really the same. Some domesticates have inflicted huge disasters onto the environment, but others haven't and still managed to improve lives. Genetic engineering has the same duel nature only to a larger degree.
