Yes that seems so...... But we don't know the risks......... That is the scary thing........
Now the moral thing comes in/hits home when it is not just plants & the risks about fucking up unknown insects & such... ALthough I believe that is certainly an issue both moral & ethical........... & again whose consequences may not be known for some time...
A few thoughts/playing GOD
Example that:
Designer babies anyone-Say Monsanto can go in & fix a genetic disorder for
$X.XXX.......... What parent wouldn't want that....???
Hopefully you got the money or insurance will pay......(I am sure parents would be willing to pay alot here...) & the long term effect of fixing one thing could fuck up another & not show up for generations....
What if you just want a bigger kid.. A prettier daughter. Or just boys???

What if some anti-social parents don't wanna designer kid???? Is the insurance company going to pay to fix their teeth. GLasses or that rare disease junior has that
couldA" been fixed/prevented if you only purchased that Monsanto gene.......???
Are the parents unwilling or unable to purchase the Monsanto fix w/ its unknown long term effects going to be condemning their offspring??
Or if there is some problem two, three generations down are they then going to be @ fault for causing these problems????
