When those things died they took much of that stuff w/ them from that hotter time...... Now we are bringing all that stuff back up & putting it back in the air. Making the air like it was back in those hotter times... cycle............

Actually...most all of the oil that has been created in the Earth's crust has already escaped...that which we know of and term 'oil reserves' is a tiny fraction of what once existed. So this 'cycle' you refer to has been going on for millions of years through Earth's natural processes.
I suppose since Earth was once covered in water, and this vegetation was prolific, that at one time petroleum could be found almost everywhere. But this natural process of the oil escaping the crust must have worked since today oil is only found in a few places...representing that tiny fraction of what once existed.
I think if there was ever an honest and public discussion about the Earth's water and petroleum resources, both of which seem to be necessary for our known survival, many people would be horrified!
Today is a good time to have this discussion...for tomorrow is nothing more than a gigantic unknown...
