honestly, I feel the same way. I'm either at work or I'm inside the house at night.

About 15 years ago there was a huge drought. I did nothing to maintain the lawn while at least one of my neighbors continued to clean his sidewalks with a hose EVERY DAY!!

The bright side is that after my lawn turned completely to dirt, I had a clean slate. I must have gotten lucky because I bought seed and then I got something to grow. Now, I only water the front lawn about once every 2 weeks for about 10 minutes at a time. It is literally worry free and extremely drought resistant. It's not the finest lawn around but I couldn't care less. It's green and cheep.

There are the kinds of people who want to sit in their front lawns and watch the cars drive by, or to be nosey about what's going on with the neighbors. I'm not one of those kind of people. I'ld rather be in the backyard. And that being said, the backyard is never boring because I'm adjacent to an elementary school soccer field. 4-5 afternoons a week there is either AYSO or softball practice and on Sundays is a Mexican soccer league that's very fun to watch while I'm drinking a beer. And I have a great view of the mountains when there isn't any haze or smog, especially in the winter when they're covered with snow.
