It bothers me that in this case, and so many others, prosecutors, or defendants, are given weeks or months to do something as simple as retrieve a file. This is a process that should tale no longer than the amount of time it takes to make a phone call, photocopy the file and shove it into an envelope. Any extra time invites foul play.
