I mean it's not like your basing what you know on yourself and the people you know. Because that would be just about the most ignorant thing a person could do.
Obviously you have put some time and effort in gathering a good consensus of what people are like in these states. And while your posting it here for us you might as well send it to all the news agencies so they can stop gathering information, quoting people and doing polls that are obviously completely false and inaccurate. I'm sure they would be greatly appreciative.

I' ve visited Decautuer county in Ga.
Nice folks, Atlanta, and the suburbs are racially mixed, with little acrimony between the races.
Compare that to the tension in big cities up north.
I lived in MAryland for a long tme, and had cousins in WV.
They commuted to work to DC, or worked in coal mines, and factorys.
Funny thing is - there is veyr little racial tension - nothing like Philly, or other Northern cities.
But you wouldn't know that, instead , you rely on anecdotal reporters.
Come on down and set a spell. find out how folks live away from the cities.
