Oregon and West Virginia has a comparable white population.
WV is 95% white and Oregon is 92.3%, or somewhere around there.
Why is Obama winning Oregon 55% to 33%, but lost WV by a landslide? Is it all about economics in WV or tree huggers living in Oregon?
I don't buy it. Why did Obama win a large segment of the white vote in Western states but lose them in the Appalachian states?
Does inherent racism still exist and always will exist in the Appalachian region?
