I answered exaustivly.
You show a complete lack of understanding if you equate a war with an established westernized country as Mexico over WHICH country would get the southwest;
to a need to by Americans to get the land we needed from the native americans, who were not a western country.
I resent the fact that you think I am SO stupid that I think China's "way of life" ( whatever that is supposed to mean) is somehow evil, so expansion by that Evil Empire must be evil.
China is neither evil nor not-evil. They are just a country like we are.
Tibet has been a separate country for eons, and are not Han, like China predominately is.
China invaded them much like the Soviet Union did in Afganistan.
They wanted to expand their empire, by taking over an existing native culture and people.
They threw out the Dalai Llama, and installed their own puppet regime
No spin needed. Manifest Destiney is not the same as warring over territory like we did with Mexico.
we had NO CHOICE but to ESTABLISH ourselves.
The war with Mexico was a clash of 2 established westerized nations who both wanted the same land.
