Oh. My. God.

Barack Obama declared unambiguously that if McCain AND George Bush want to have a debate on how to protect the United States, that's a debate he's ready to have.

And I do mean unambiguous.

"Anytime, anywhere," he assured the assembly of South Dakotans.

Do it, do it, do it.

Especially do it because, to this same gathering of South Dakotans, Barack Obama chastised George Bush for not restricting himself to the spirit of celebrating Israel's 60th year of independence and elevating himself to address what would now "move the situation in the Middle East forward."

I want each one of those men to define "The Situation" in the Middle East as they see it. Real basic, so's a commoner can get ahold of what each of them thinks.

And I especially want to hear PRECISELY what is Barack Obama's vision of the Middle East's future. I KNOW what the Hardright vision is.

This is a golden opportunity.

Seize the moment, for a change.
