We need to have Iran in check. Most of the liberals here are atheists and reject the importance of Israel in America's decisions. Bush has been a great friend of Israel and I know it was REALLY more about Israel in toppling Saddam than any damn WMDs. WMDs was an exaggerated excuse to go in, but Israel was the most pressing motive. Next up: Iran's nuclear facility.

Really? Bush is a fool. His success comes from his being manipulated combined with his connections. He is a savvy politician and knows how to use those contacts. Cheney was never electable, but you bet your ass the power in the Bush Administration is from the VP office. The MIC connection sure makes Cheney's obsessiveness of unilateralism crystal clear.
As to Iran, Iran is an elected government. The current 'Administration' came into power directly because of Bush and his 'Axis of Evil' font of f'n wisdom. The existing government of the time was pro-Western. Loved western products, had comparatively open media (to region). These 'enemies' of the U.S. had a pro-US marches after 9/11.
Israel is dire need of being held responsible for its actions. We should take them to task, no country is going to seriously threaten them as long as the U.S. supports them. Ask Kuwait. They are also a democratically elected government and as such should gain our support. This support should not be NSA, it should contain those points necessary to halt Israel's rather terroristic mentality when it comes to foreign policy.
If people think that Bush is the primary problem in Washington, then they are going to wreck my country.
