I hear what you're saying. I'm very anti-war and think we shouldn't stay in Iraq any longer than we have to.
A proxy war just ended in Lebanon; the country is currently without a president.
This is a very volatile and resourceful, thus an important strategic region. We are the problem, because we tipped the scale; our presence is a problem.
Nobody knows for sure why we went into Iraq. By now, I don't think anyone believes the invasion was to fight terror and WMD only. How do we know what we're losing, if we don't even know what we went in there for?
