that is a grotesquely inaccurate comparison.

Barry has been reelected by an african american electorate for a zillion reasons that have NOTHING to do with any teflon quality. It is a risk/benefit paradigm in which he has been thought to benefit his constituency more than the risks.

DC is a UNIQUE electorate for many reasons.
