What's truly insidious about this is the sophistication of the new disenfranchisement. No white "citizen's councils", no Jim Crow laws but high powered, white conservative lawyers and politicians using the law to break the law. I recently saw a documentary about the Diebold 2004 scandal, hardly a blip on the main stream media radar. You can chalk it up as one more rotten bit of the legacy of the criminal regime ar 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
