It's not hypocritical to point out hypocritical behavior. It's mandatory. We all like to feel that we're on the high road, but if you don't address realities like this, you lose. I'll never forget the lesson, learned from the swiftboating of the last election. Dems had what should have been a historic 'in-your-face' refutation of that whole thing, and they didn't repond strongly enough. And it cost them. A lot.

I personally don't think that the personal lives of presidents should be public fodder. But I live in this world, where it is. And if you're running around complaining about stench, you'd better make damn sure your own shorts are clean.

If you don't like the 'character' or 'family values' arguments, one good way to make them go away, is to make them untenable for the people that invented them. I've always lived by a rule of thumb, that says, 'I won't hit you first, but I'll damn sure hit you back'.

And let's not forget how big an issue affairs were made by the right, for the purpose of party politics. When the dems have a Special Prosecutor, uncovering details of whether or not John and Cindy, were having sex outside the (oh-so-precious and sacred) marriage bonds, on taxpayer money, THEN you can say, the dems are as bad.

McCain is a political whore of the highest caliber. He's proven time and again, that he'll divest himself of any idea or value, if it furthers his goals. His relationship with Bushco, is symptomatic of the nature of the man.

If you can't ask about the character of a man who divorced a cripple to marry corporate royalty, thereby launching his political career, then when can you?

He's influenced by sex and money? oh the humanity!

I said it was okay to criticize the hypocrisy of it...
