Could it be they all have long and strong ties to a particular industry? An industry that has openly funded disinformation about climate change. The industry that the Vice President holds locked door meetings with and refuses to disclose the details of what was discussed in those meetings.
The Bush administration that appointed a lobbiest for the American Petroleum Institute as it's chief of staff for the Council on Enviromental Quality? A non-scientist who then editted scientific reports on global warming downplaying and softening various aspects of it in regards to greenhouse gases?
The Bush administration who fought against the EPA having the mandate to regulate greenhouse gas emissions? Lead by a Bush EPA official who then left the EPA to join the law firm of Bracewell and
Giuliani to lobby against enviromental restrictions on energy companies?
The Bush administration that has censored scientists associated with goverment agencies against talking publicly about various aspects of climate change?
The Bush administration which has otherwise dragged it's heels every step of the way on the issue of climate change?
