WASHINGTON -- New documents released this week by America's National Security Agency support Israel's version of a
long-festering controversy between the two countries. Israel's sinking of an American spy ship, the USS Liberty, off the coast
of Gaza during the 1967 Six-Day War.

I'm going to sit through the hour long video posted earlier, and see about some things I seem to remember about it.
I don't buy into any conspiracies, other than the fact that the US might have been looking for a reason to jump into the war. It wouldn't have been the first time our soldiers were sacrificed for "the greater good"
If this was a tragic mistake, and Israel owned up to it, why was it so classified, and why were all the medals handed out in such a subdued manner?
I'm going to go rewatch the video.
