Be very, very careful when quoting AP stories. If you haven't heard, there is a huge scuffle between the Bloggers and AP over 'fair use'. Some websites have banned, or boycotted the use of AP stories, and other have taken the 'F. YOU' attitude to fair use and told AP to sue them if they don't like it.
To the meat of your post, what shocks me is not the number of people who think this nation is on the wrong track, but that it took THIS LONG for some of them to realize it.
