Actually, I don't think I'll be getting a used one because I get $875 from work to buy something "techie" and it won't apply to used stuff. Last year, I bought the D40 with this money so I'm going to try and sell it for $700 (including bunch of accessories and warranty) - I paid more for it than that. That $700 and this year's $875 gives me $1575 to buy my new camera (has to be D80, can't afford the D200). Fortunately, I can carry the money over to next year's
Or I'll keep the D40 and just buy the lens as that's my priority.
I'm not sure if I want to buy the extended warranty this time though - it cost $220 for an extra 3 years on both lens and body but Nikon's warranty comes w/ 2 years on the body and 5 years on the lens.
