...Now that may not be the French gov't's fault, and -- how do I say this? -- the US has some impressive ghettos too, J. Some of it's inevitable with influx as it is, but you haven't experienced police choppers practically sitting on your apartment building's roof often enough to become commonplace (nor have I, but my classmates who'd rented a place in Compton did)
