This truther, me, does NOT believe that "everyone was in on it" in the sense that "everyone" had foreknowledge of the specifics. Enough people had enough knowledge that some bought the airline stocks short, we know that. But we don't know the specifics.
My view is that, at least as far as the FAA and some other agencies went, government employees with absolutely NO fore knowledge were sucked in as important pawns by virtue of Vigilant Guardian. Having participated in a few myself 30 years ago, I understand the mindset that such training exercises induce in the average troop.
Particulate matter with the chemical byproducts of thermite use, scattered around lower Manhattan, make it clear that explosives were used.
Because they are wonderfully competent at staging the events of the day DOES NOT NECESSARILY mean that they are competent at other things such as planting WMD in Iraq. Besides, who cares if they were there or not? The invasion was completed, the troops are on the ground, and who fucking cares if WMD plants were there or not? The Mission Was Accomplished, the public bought it hook, line and sinker, and what difference does it make if one tiny detail of a huge lie proves inaccurate?
They don't care.
